Matthew Brunnig - President

Matt grew up wanting to play baseball professionally & invent things. Didn't quite make it pro (although still holds FL state high school single season strikout record) and ended up studying mechanical engineering undergrad while playing D1 baseball. After graduation he spent 10 years working up to Sr Project Manager managing powerplant rebuilds throughout the world. Matt took over ownership of Sunrise in 2018 and has since immersed himself in becoming an expert in all things tensioned netting. He now fulfills his dreams of inventing by leading R&D at Sunrise and holds several patents. He is also learning to sail and hopes to take his wife cruising in the reasonably near future.

Caleb J. - Netting Engineer

Caleb has engineering training and joined us after a career in the Air Force focused on avionics. Since his 4 year contract in the military he has begun working here and is now our design engineer. You will likely talk to him if you have any design or custom netting work.

Gabe C - Director of Selling

For years we avoided having a sales department, but decided to start one after bringing Gabe on. He leads marketing & sales and will be your point of contact if you are in any of our partner programs. He grew up sailing and to this day is the best sailor in the building.

Kevin P. - Integrator

Kevin joined the team recently and has proven immensely helpful in organizing the growing business. His organizational skills & vision towards organization help pull us all together and remain focused while we grow.

Mike G - Operations Lead

We can assure you that you are lucky Mike is here. His passion for quality & incredible reliability are a backbone for Sunrise and you can be almost certain his fingerprint is somewhere on your nets.

Justin J - Quality Control

We give a detailed inspection & cleaning to every net that goes out of this building and Justin J inspects most of them himself. His attention to detail & reliability help ensure you get the best possible products.

Ennrick L. - Coating & DyneemaCore Lead

With over 17 years of experience leading our coating department & creating our DyneemaCore Perimeter Nets, Ennrick ensures that these steps are completed to our our (& his) standards. When your net lasts 12+ years you should thank him.

Nick P - Shop Engineer

Nick has been here over 20 years and has an intimate knowledge of our production history. This knowledge is incredibly helpful in his role of creating shop drawings for all of your nets as there are nurmerous small details that he can recall from his many years here to ensure your shop design is manufacturable & durable.

James M. - All Things Technical

James built our internal ERM which is the electronic backbone for our operations & ensures our production flow meets your schedule. He also makes sure the website stays up so that you can learn more about us!

Chlóe L - Sewing Design Engineer

Chlóe has been here over 8 years & being an incredibly gifted seamstress helps us develop new designs for sewability (probably a word). She will still sew a net from time to time and you might be lucky enough to get a net that came off her needle!

Nelson G - Webbing Master

Nelson has over 8 years of experience here & is our webbing net lead. Weaving a webbing net is not for the faint of heart, so you're lucky he's in the shop ensuring your webbing nets come out as well as possible.

Justin C - Coating

Justin C joined us after a Navy career and is here every day coating nets & making our DyneemaCore nets. He is passionate about ensuring that your nets are made to spec.

Jack - HR

Jack joined us in 2018 as a 6 year old and serves an important role in cleaning up from pizza parties & loving on everybody. If you come to visit he'll be among the first to greet you!
